Ramiro Lafarga has stepped down for the position of president of UPC Polska and decided to leave Liberty Global.
Lafarga had been the head of Poland’s largest cable operator since only July 2014, replacing Simon Boyd, who had left at the end of 2013 after a number of years with the company.
Prior to joining UPC Polska, Lafarga had been the director of O2 Slovakia, which at that time was owned by Spain’s Telefónica.
Earlier, he held a number of executive positions in Telefónica operations in Latin America.
