Deutsche Telekom will expand its OTT service for basketball fans by games from US league NBA.
The German telco will screen 45 live matches per saison in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons. The games will be available each Sunday via PC, tablet and smartphone as well as on Telekom’s IPTV platform Entertain.
The new offering which also includes highlight clips and play-off summaries is included in the subscription of Telekom’s basketball channel.
German pay-TV channel Sport1 US also recently secured NBA rights and will show up to 120 matches per season.
