German public broadcaster ZDF will make its catch-up TV service ZDFmediathek available as an app on the new TV box Apple TV which will be introduced in the next days.
With the app, viewers can watch TV programmes they missed on ZDF, ZDFneo, ZDFinfo and ZDFkultur and access live-streams of the channels including partner channels 3sat, Arte, Phoenix and KI.KA.
In addition to PCs and laptops, ZDFmediathek is also available on smartphones, tablets, games consoles and smart TV sets.
