A new comedy channel will make its debut in Russia on November 1.
Known as Komedia, it will offer viewers the most popular and high quality movies and series from the last 10 years.
Komedia will be operated by Digital Television, a joint venture whose partners VGTRK and Rostelecom between them distribute a total of 18 thematic channels.
Significantly, Digital Television is the first Russian media company to make its content available on five screens, namely TVs, desktops, smartphones, tablets and wide screen cinema.
Komedia will be distributed by Signal Media, the exclusive distributor of Digital Television channels.
