The Slovak cable operator Satro will launch a DTH service on November 2.
It will also start to offer internet via DSL, charging €19.90 a month for download speeds of up 50 Mbps.
Significantly, it will not be using its infrastructure for either, with the former delivered through M7 Group’s, which operates Skylink, on Astra and latter on Slovak Telekom’s network. The DTH service, known as SATROsat, will offer viewers over 250 channels, including more than 40 in HD. It will consist of 13 packages, with the cheapest costing €5 a month.
