UPC DTH has attained a combined total of over 800,000 subscribers for its operations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (freeSAT), Hungary (UPC Direct) and Romania (Focus Sat).
The figure represents an increase of 60% since the formation of UPC DTH in 2010.
UPC DTH has added 18 new international and local channels to its offer in the past 12 months. They include Fine Living Network, Food Network, TV Slagr, Duna HD, and Markiza HD.
In order to provide a full HD experience to all customers, it is now also offering more advanced receivers such as the Humax (UD-FOX) HD and the Kaon (3600) HD.
