MTV HD will become available again to DTH satellite customers of German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland.
The music and entertainment channel will become a full member of HD+ as the 21st channel of the HDTV platform operated on Astra (19.2° East) by satellite operator SES on October 21, 2015.
MTV HD launched on HD+ on September 2, 2014, but only as a free-of-charge bonus channel for customers. With the addition to the regular package, Sky Deutschland subscribers will gain access if they sign up for HD+.
The direct distribution of MTV HD on the Sky Deutschland platform ended on September 1, 2014.
