The Gazprom Media-owned Russian broadcaster NTV has effectively chosen a replacement for Vladimir Kulistikov, who has been its DG for over a decade.
Kommersant reports that the board of directors will meet on October 21 to decide on his successor, with only one candidate – Alexei Zemsky, most recently the deputy general director at VGTRK – being considered.
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, Kulistikov’s contract runs out at the beginning of next year and he has decided not to stay on for health reasons.
