Polish private broadcaster TVN is bringing its VOD offerings to Samsung smart TVs and mobile devices.
Users of Samsung devices will get access to a dedicated content offering of TVN’s OTT platform Player.pl. The service will become available before the end of October.
Content will include TVNs new Online Original Productions, streaming live TVN channels, international movies and TV series and curated kids content.
“In Samsung we believe that innovation drives the future, Thanks to Samsung and TVN cooperation with Player.pt, we will take Polish customers tot he amazing VOD journey available on full range of devices,” said Hadrin Baumann, CEO of Samsung Electronics Polska.
“This long term cooperation further strengthens the the position of Player.pl as the leading OTT platform in Poland,” said Christian Anting, TVN board member in charge of digital and e-commerce.
“We are especially pleased that millions of Samsung customers will be able to enjoy the outstanding programming and best-in-class services that Player.pl offers.”
They usually aggregate, established broadcasters have not answered the challenge of original programming, perhaps with the exception of the BBC.
