German media company ProSiebenSat.1 will launch a music TV channel in Ultra HD resolution in October 2015.
The channel will be available as an OTT service on selected Ultra HD sets and carry the AMPYA brand ProSiebenSat.1 uses for its online music activities.
The AMPYA platform bundles all music streaming services offered by ProSiebenSat.1 with the Putpat TV brand being dropped. AMPYA comprises linear 24 hour music TV channels as live-streams, single music videos on demand and a personalised music stream which can be customised to the user’s individual taste.
The free of charge, advertising-supported AMPYA platform is available via smart TV sets, smartphones, tablets, laptops and PCs.
