Romania’s parliament has rejected the public broadcaster TVP’s annual report.
It has also dismissed both TVR’s president and CEO Stelian Tanase and board of directors.
According to Mediafax, parliament in addition voted unanimously for Irina Radu to take over the role of TVR president and CEO on an interim basis.
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, TVR has had financial difficulties for some time and posted a loss of RON81.5 million (€19.2 million) last year.
