The board of German public broadcaster ZDF has reelected ZDF’s general director Thomas Bellut for another 5-year term.
“Bellut stands for independent journalism and a successful programme strategy,” Ruprecht Polenz, chairman of the board, said in Mainz. “Under his leadership, the channel family has developed into the leading provider of high-quality television.”
The second term of Bellut who has been heading ZDF since 2012 will commence on March 15, 2017.
