Ooyala, a subsidiary of Australian telco Telstra specialising in video publishing, analytics and monetisation solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with Swiss community marketing and social TV platform joiz to provide third parties with video, interactive and analytics technologies.
Additionally, the US-based company is powering video and advertising solutions for social TV channels joiz Switzerland and joiz Germany. The broadcaster uses Ooyala’s video and ad tech offerings including end-to-end video management, delivery, analytics and ad serving capabilities.
With this technology, the channels can further build, maintain and monetise audiences with personalised content recommendations and drive higher CPMs across their inventory, giving a data-driven strategy that leads directly to increased revenue, according to Ooyala.
The partners want to provide broadcasters, operators, media companies and brands with a range of complementary services to increase viewer engagement, build stronger communities, enhance big data strategies and better monetise audiences with personalised, interactive experiences across all screens.
