Poland’s leading cable operator UPC Polska aims reach 180,000 more homes at the end of 2015 than it did a year earlier, according to its head Ramiro Lafarga.
This, he added, would be a six-fold increase on the 30,000+ additional homes on average it reached each year.
Lafarga’s prediction came as UPC Polska announced plans to expand its services to the city of Tarnów, in the south east of the country, later this year.
In addition, it will move into the whole Pokarpacie region, also in the south east of the country, with the city of Rzeszów receiving services from this autumn.
UPC Polska currently passes over 2.8 million homes in over 140 cities throughout Poland.
