Chinese technology company Huawei and German smart TV portal solutions provider NetRange have formed a partnership to create a joint global next-generation OTT ecosystem for platform operators.
The agreement covers OTT services such as linear TV streaming, video-on-demand and cloud gaming which operators can integrate into their products.
The move comes as Huawei is aiming to launch its hosting service in Europe this year, following the rollout in the Middle East and in China.
