Soft at Home says it plans to demonstrate the first independent set-top box product that integrates HDR technology.
It will be seen at IBC 2015 in Amsterdam, which opens today.
“At SoftAtHome, we believe that HDR delivers a significant improvement in viewing experience, irrespective of screen size or viewing distance,” explained Michel Degland, CEO, SoftAtHome. “The next generation of immersive television is coming HDR is the best way for operators to start delivering the HDR experience.”
The HDR technique has been well known in photography for the last two years; already it seems that it will be one of the buzzwords belonging to IBC 2015.
