The channel, known as Insight, will be TERN’s first Ultra HD service and be exclusively available via satellite in Europe on Astra at 19.2 degrees East.
Insight will be a global service, offering a wide range of original programming including documentaries, reality series and factual infotainment, as well as high levels of interactive new formats to enable the immediate sharing of content through social media. It will have reality, entertainment and sports broadcasting aimed at a millennial audience.
Commenting on the upcoming launch of Insight, Mariam Zamaray, CEO at TERN, said: “We are very excited to launch the new channel on SES satellite across Europe. More details about the channel will be announced at a press conference at MIPCOM in Cannes on October 5.
