Liberty Global will bundle its operations in Central and Eastern Europe with its Austrian and Swiss subsidiaries UPC Austria and UPC Cablecom.
Eric Tveter, CEO of the regional organisation made up of UPC Austria and UPC Cablecom, will also take up the post of CEO of Liberty Global’s newly created Central Europe Group.
In addition to UPC Austria and UPC Cablecom, the Central Europe Group will also include Liberty Global’s cable operations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia as well as its UPC DTH satellite television services in the region based in Luxembourg.
In addition to holding the position of CEO of the Central Europe Group, Tveter will retain his role as CEO of UPC Austria and UPC Cablecom and will reside in Zurich.
Ivan Nash Vila will take on the role of CFO of the Central Europe Group in addition to his position as CFO of UPC Austria and UPC Cablecom.
