Broadcast specialist Vision247 has added its connected free-to-air service to the EE TV platform.
The EE TV platform is developed and operated by Netgem, who have been working closely with Vision’s operator Synapse to ensure full compatibility of the EE TV box. It is anticipated that this development will be the first in a number of joint initiatives with Netgem for the EE TV platform.
Vision247’s Tanya Vidmar said: “The availability of our services via EE TV provides us with an opportunity to reach out to a much wider audience. EE TV shares our goals to provide the UK with access to a cultured, international pool of channels that are free-to-air and we believe that this partnership will be mutually beneficial in reaching this objective.”
EE’s TV service is based on a free-to-air TV platform and comes with over 70 free-to-view channels (13 in HD) taken from the Freeview platform alongside tradition trickplay; pause, rewind, record, catch-up and on demand. It also allows viewers to watch any broadcast TV programmes that are on their EE TV box, including recordings, from any room in the house, seamlessly on up to three compatible tablets or phones.
