A new channel named BIT (Bulgarian International Television) is set to launch in Bulgaria later this month.
Capital reports that the service is backed by the brothers Pavel and Rumen Valnevi, who operate a large logistical and transport network in the US, and will focus on the lives of Bulgarians living abroad.
BIT in fact has its roots in a channel launched by the brothers in Chicago two years ago that is currently broadcast over the internet.
BIT will be distributed in Bulgaria by the DTH platform Vivacom TV.
However, it will also seek other partners in both Bulgaria and the US.
