The Warsaw District Court has upheld a fine of PLN200,000 (€47,248) imposed by the regulator KRRiT on TVN for broadcasting pornography.
The fine was announced in March 2014 and related to Strength of Desire, a programme shown seven months earlier on TVN Style, a channel aimed at a female audience.
In the KRRiT’s view, it infringed the Broadcast Law and TVN’s explanation that it was modern, erotic cinema for women was inadmissible.
