German Christian broadcaster Evangeliums-Rundfunk (ERF) has made its catch-up service ERF Mediathek accessible directly on TV screens.
The free-of-charge ERF app is available for smart TV sets from many manufacturers including Samsung, Philips, LG and TechniSat. Through the smart TV application viewers can watch several ERF series in full length at no charge at any time, for example Mensch Gott, Gott sei Dank and ERF Gottesdienst.
The precondition is that the TV set is connected to the internet. Older models can be upgraded through streaming boxes or HDMI sticks.
ERF Mediathek has so far been available on the internet and through smartphone and tablet apps.
