Marco Frazier, SVP of Distribution and Business Development UK & Western Europe at AMC Networks, will share the CTAM chairmanship with Inge Schmidts, CMO Liberty Global and formerly with Telenet.
Tveter, CEO of Central Europe Group, Liberty Global, will join the Cable Europe board of directors.
“I very much enjoyed my role at CTAM Europe, it is a great organization bringing together key players from the industry and offering outstanding educational programs for the European Media and Telecommunications business,” commented Tveter.
“Following our announced cooperation with Cable Europe, I am happy to hand over the CTAM chairmanship role to two leading executives, one from the content work and the other from a converged cable operator. I am sure they will do an outstanding job to continue making CTAM Europe thrive in the future.”
The new structure will reflect the two kind of players that are part of CTAM Europe, cable operators and content providers.
Smidts noted: “I am excited about the new role as co – chairman at CTAM Europe and will do my best to support its activities and keep the organization relevant to our industry”.
