The Hungarian regulator NMHH will strengthen the rights of users of electronic communications services from the beginning of September.
In a statement, it says that the first of the most important changes requires more transparency in contracts, which cannot be changed without the consent of subscribers.
The second requires the termination of contracts to be fairer to subscribers and the third expands the penalty payment obligation for service providers.
The fourth change intensifies the protection of minors against harmful content.
Additional changes related to contacts will come into effect on December 1.
