Religious TV broadcaster Hope Channel will transmit its German-language channel in HD quality on Astra (19.2 degrees East) from September 1, 2015.
Hope Channel HD will be distributed on the frequency 11.244 GHz H (SR 22,000, FEC 5/6). A caption announcing the launch is already being broadcast.
The free-to-air channel will terminate its parallel transmission in SD resolution on the frequency 12.148 GHz H (SR 27,500, FEC 3/4) on October 31, 2015.
