László Zsolt Szabó has resigned from his position as CEO of the Hungarian Media Service Support and Asset Management Fund (MTVA), an umbrella body for the country’s public service broadcasters.
According to BBJ, his departure is effective from this Saturday, August 15.
Although no further details have been released, it is thought that Szabó’s decision could be linked to the problems surrounding the recent re-launch of M1 as an all news channel.
