Paramount’s Worldwide Television Licensing & Distribution (PWTLD) division has added eight executives to its TV Licensing team and promoted one.
The expansion was announced by Amy Reinhard, president, Paramount Worldwide Television and Home Media Acquisitions. The expansion of PWTLD’s sales team augments the studio’s presence in an array of territories including Germany, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, Russia, Brazil, India and Korea.
“The growth of our division is a reflection of the expanding opportunities in the global marketplace and the increasing amount of content that we have to offer, including the studio’s growing television production,” said Reinhard.
“We want to ensure that we can meet the demand across all territories and have sought out the very best professionals to add to our exceptional team so that we can continue to build our business worldwide.”
Among the new hires are Bernhard Schwab, VP Regional Sales, German-speaking Europe; Jacques Roldan, VP Regional Sales, Spain AND Portugal; and Astrid de Berardinis, VP Regional Sales, Italy, Turkey and Greece. Additionally, Matt Downer has been promoted to VP, Regional Sales, UK and Ireland.
New Directors include Yuriy Evdokimov, Director Regional Sales, Russia and Southeast Europe; Sara Lind Palmer, Director, TV Licensing, Scandinavia; Fernando Feldman, Director TV Sales, Brazil; Manju Nair, Director Regional Sales, South Asia; and June Choi, Executive Director Regional Sales, North Asia.
