German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has launched an HD version of its Austrian sports channel Sky Sport Austria.
The channel focusing on sports from the Alpine country shows, for example, the games of Austria’s domestic football league Bundesliga, the Europacup matches of Austria’s teams and games of the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga. The lineup also comprises football show Talk & Tore.
Sky Sport Austria HD is automatically accessible by subscribers signed up for the sports package and the premium HD option. The channel can be received via satellite on Astra (19.2° East), on Telekom Austria’s IPTV platform A1 TV, on UPC Austria and other cable networks.
