German cable operator Unitymedia will add entertainment channel Sony Entertainment TV to its cable network in federal states North-Rhine Westphalia, Hessen and Baden-Württemberg on August 11, 2015.
The pay-TV channel which mainly screens drama series and mini series will become part of subscription package Digital TV Allstars.
In Baden-Württemberg, Unitymedia will add ARTE HD to its lineup on August 12, 2015. The HD version of the European cultural channel which is distributed unencrypted is already available to cable households in North-Rhine Westphalia and Hessen.
Unitymedia wants to add further HD channels to its cable network soon.
