German subscription broadcaster Sky Deutschland has made its OTT platform Sky Online available on HDMI stick Chromecast enabling viewers to stream the Sky channels from their smartphone or tablet to the TV set.
Sky Online makes Sky Deutschland’s film, series and sports offering accessible without a long-term subscription. The OTT service is available from €9.99 per month; the subscription can be cancelled monthly.
In addition to Chromecast, Sky Online is accessible through the open internet, on the iPhone, iPad, Xbox One, smart TV sets from LG and Samsung, selected Android smartphones and tablets as well as on the Roku-powered Sky Online TV Box.
