German cable operator Kabel Deutschland has included the catch-up TV service of German commercial TV channel Tele 5 in its video-on-demand (VOD) portal Select Video.
The move enables cable customers to watch selected programmes of the free-to-air channel 24 hours per day in full length, for example movies and entertainment shows.
The content becomes available on the catch-up service immediately after its TV broadcast in HD quality and at remains accessible at least for seven days at no charge.
Select Video which offers programmes from over 60 TV channels can be used by more than 6.4 million households.
