Fox Sports to kick off Bundesliga coverage with global simulcast

Fox International ChannelsFox International Channels will showcase the season kick-off match of Germany’s domestic football league Bundesliga between FC Bayern München and Hamburger SV on August 14, 2015 with a global simulcast TV event.

Live coverage of the game will not only be available on US network Fox Sports, but will be broadcast at the same time on the main Fox entertainment channel in North and South America as well as in several countries in Asia and Europe.

The simultaneous broadcast marks the debut of Fox Sports as DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga’s global broadcasting partner from the 2015/16 season. The inaugural match will air live on Fox Sports, Fox, FX, Film Zone and Cinecanal in Latin America, on Fox and FX in Brazil, on the Fox channels in Asia, on Fox Netherlands and on Fox Italy.

In the USA, the first match will be offered in a special telecast on Fox sports regional networks, Fox Sports 2, foxsports.com and via Fox Sports’ YouTube channel. In total, Fox Sports will show more than 300 regular season Bundesliga matches live on television or as an internet stream.
