German free-of-charge video-on-demand (VOD) service Netzkino has launched an app on Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV platform Entertain.
The advertising-financed offering which can be found in the TV apps section enables all Entertain customers to watch full-length movies at no charge.
The films are part of Netzkino’s movie stock which contains 1,500 titles. They are classified into the sections all movies, new releases and most-watched.
The lineup contains thrillers, action, drama and children’s movies as well as classics including, for example, Shooting Dog with John Hurt, Mein Kampf with Tom Schilling and Götz George and Loulou with Gérard Depardieu. New productions are added on a regular basis.
No registration is required to watch the movies. Before streaming starts, up to three short commercials are shown.
