SPI International has entered into an agreement with Freeman securing a line-up of first and second run movie content for the FilmBox channels in Hungary and Romania.
The deal gives SPI broadcast rights for more than 40 titles and FilmBox will start airing the new content this October on FilmBox Premium channel in Hungary and FilmBox Extra in Romania.
Commenting on the development, Berk Uziyel, executive director of Filmbox International, said: “The recently acquired line-up from Freeman will significantly strengthen the competitive edge of our premium FilmBox channels in Hungary and Romania.
“Some of the titles are yet to be released in theatres and we will be proud to present their television premieres on our channels”.
