Humax has launched a new compact receiver for free-to-air satellite platform Freesat.
The new HDR-1100 range all have built in Wi-Fi – earlier models needed to be connected over Ethernet – and included access to catch up services branded as Freetime. These include BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, YouTube and Curzon Home Cinema.

The new box adds even more appeal to the popular Freetime service, allowing great streaming and on-demand content to be easily accessible. The Humax Freesat HDR-1100S, now available, comes in a glossy black or white finish. It measures just 280w x 48h x 200d and is priced at £189 (500GB), £219 (1TB) and £299 (2TB).
