Seventy per cent of pay-TV subscribers in Hungary opted for digital services as of this May, according to data published by the regulator NMHH.
Of the approximately 4.1 million households in the country, over 3.4 million opted for pay-TV, with the majority of the rest watching DTT services.
The number of cable and IPTV subscriptions stood at 2,138,854, of which 1,193,790 were digital.
Meanwhile, the number of DTH and pay-DTT subscriptions stood at 902,035 and 111,793 respectively.
