Switzerland’s largest cable operator UPC Cablecom has commenced offering its customers the possibility to watch TV channels’ programmes up to seven days after their broadcast.
The new replay function has been integrated into the electronic programme guide through a Horizon update. During TV programmes currently being aired, viewers can move back to the beginning by pressing a button.
The replay feature introduced in 2013 has so far only covered a 30 hour period.
UPC Cablecom has also expanded its internet service: The 500Mbps high-speed access launched in the Bern region in 2013 is now available throughout Switzerland. The highest data rate has previously been 250Mbps.
