Thor 7 has now completed in launch testing and has reached its final orbital location at one degree West.
Telenor Satellite Broadcasting said it was officially handed over to its satellite control centre at 5pm on June 16.
The satellite was successfully launched on board an Ariane 5 launcher on April 26, 2015.

Thor 7 is now ready for commercial operation with a Ku-band payload of 11 transponders providing much-needed growth capacity for broadcast and TV services throughout Europe and specifically in Central and Eastern Europe.
