Dutch IPTV provider Online.nl, part of the M7 Group, has added Chromecast to its streaming video app.
With the new version of its app, for both Android and iOS, Online.nl customers can now stream HD channels from their smartphone or tablet to the TV screen.
Channels available include HD versions of most Dutch public and private broadcaster as well as selected international channels including 24 Kitchen, Discovery Channel, Fos Sports channels and the HBO offer.
“We are convinced that television is entering a new era where interactive innovations provide momentum. With the addition of Chromecast – noww with streaming live television, but soon talso with catch-up TV – we take an important step towards that new age,” said Björn Jeurissen, country manager and responsible for M7 Online.nl.
“Our customers were already watching on television and all devices Chromecast adds another great dimension. Customers with Android or iOS device, thanks to this app, can now enjoy their favourite programmes in HD.”
