Tine Austvoll Jensen er påtroppende CFO/COO i Discovery Networks.

Tine Austvoll Jensen er påtroppende CFO/COO i Discovery Networks.

Tine Austvoll Jensen has been appointed as the new CFO and COO of SBS Discovery Networks Norway replacing Morten Scotland Hansen who is retiring.

Austvoll Jensen comes from Schibsted Classified Media, where she worked as VP Classified Monetisation. Tine Austvoll Jensen has 18 years experience in the media industry. Before joining Schibsted she was director of media development in MTG and COO for Viasat in Norway. She has also worked for Canal Digital.

“Discovery Networks is the most exciting TV-house in Norway currently. The development company has been through in recent years, with TVNorge in the lead, is remarkable,” said Jensen.

“The offensive plans for the future organisation and expertise, combined with Discovery’s international muscle, triggered me to accept the job. I rejoice in the opportunity to join in such an exciting time in the company’s history.”

She takes up position in mid-August. Morten Scotland Hansen is retiring after the summer.

“I’ve been a part of this company since 1998 and seen bosses and colleagues come and go. But some things have always been the same: the good culture, cohesion and playfulness. I’ve had a wonderful time and are very grateful for everything I have been a part of,” Scotland Hansen said. “The company also has an exciting time in front, with Discovery taken ownership.:

SBS Discovery Norway also appointed Lars Engen ad director of financial planning and analysis. Engen has until now acted as chief accountant. Engen will report to Tine Austvoll Jensen.
