The Russian cable operator ER Telecom, which provides services under the brand name Dom.ru, has added 28 new digital channels to its offer.
Six of these channels are in HD, and as a result almost one in three (61) of the 185 in its line-up are in the format.
According to ER Telecom, it now offers more HD channels than any other pay-TV platform in Russia.
There has been no correspondent price increase for subscribers following the addition of the new channels.
ER Telecom is the third largest cable operator in Russia, with its services reaching 10 million households.
