Following its launch in March in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia, Sony’s PlayStation Vue is now also available in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The service, starting at $49.99 a month, includes local TV stations affiliated with CBS, NBC, Fox and cable channels such as AMC, Bravo, CNN, Comedy Central, Fox News, Discovery, Nickelodeon and TBS. It doesn’t have deals with Disney, so it lacks channels from ABC and ESPN.
In addition, Sony said it will also start to offer a la carte channels such as Showtime for $10.99 a month, and Fox Soccer Plus for $14.99 per month. Vue will also feature a brand new channel from Machinima.
The latest expansion was announced during this year’s E3 event.
