SPI/FilmBox are increasing their presence in the Baltic Republics with the launch of FilmBox-branded channels on Lattelecom and Livas in Latvia.
The former, which is the country’s largest telco, will offer the film channel FilmBox Baltic in its movie package, along with the extreme sports channel Fast&FunBox in its sports package.
Meanwhile, the latter, a cable operator, will offer FilmBox Baltic in its basic digital package and FightBox in its sports package.
Commenting on the launches, Berk Uziyel, executive director of Filmbox International, said: “We are very excited to launch our channels in Latvia and bring top entertainment content to movie and sports fans in this country.
“Recently, we have broadcast a very successful kickboxing event from Latvia on the FightBox channel. It feels good to know that the local fans will be able to watch this show and the next ones on FightBox in their homes”.
