Canadian multi-platform music provider Stingray will make its Stingray Ambiance channel available to subscribers in 4K Ultra HD from September 2015.
Stingray aims for distribution of the Ultra HD service via cable, satellite and IPTV through pay-TV providers worldwide, the company announced at German cable, satellite and broadband fair ANGA COM in Cologne. The channel which focuses on a combination of rich, beautiful scenery with custom soundtracks will continue to broadcast in HD quality for viewers without Ultra HD reception devices.
