The Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has added two children’s channels to its line up.
The first, named Red, is being offered in the operator’s basic ‘One’ package and allocates 40% of its airtime to cartoons and animated series, 30% to feature films and TV series and 30% to information and entertainment-based programmes from Russia and abroad.
Meanwhile, Ginger HD, the second, is an interactive channel that includes music videos and viewer participation.
It is being made available in the ‘One’ package on a promotional basis until the end of this month.
Tricolor TV’s ‘Junior’ package currently consists of 13 channels and costs R900 a year to receive.
At the same time, its basic service includes five channels aimed at children and adolescents.
