Swedish internet TV provider Magine TV has appointed Olaf Kroll as the new head of its German subsidiary, effective June 16, 2015.
Kroll will manage all activities of Magine TV in the German market and also head sales, marketing and business development. Former German director Friederike Behrends will continue to work for the company as senior strategy consultant.
From 2011 to 2013, Kroll was managing director Germany of social video marketing platform Unruly Media. From 2007 to 2011, he was vice president business development & mobile, Europe, at News Corp subsidiary Fox Interactive Media/MySpace.
A new service by Magine TV Germany is a personalised main page: TV for Me recommends users programmes matching their individual taste. TV channels can also be fully activated and deactivated.
