Switzerland’s largest cable operator UPC Cablecom has secured a movie and series package from Hollywood studio Sony Pictures Entertainment for its video-on-demand (VOD) service MyPrime.
The package includes films like Salt, Spider-Man, Men in Black and Mall Cop as well as series such as Breaking Bad, The Shield and Damages. With the Horizon Go app, the content can also be viewed on a tablet or smartphone.
UPC Cablecom also acquired movies for its premium VOD service which offers recent blockbuster releases for a single payment. The package contains, for example, Mall Cop 2, Chappie and Hotel Transylvania 2.
