The Polish cable operator Toya has added seven more HD channels to its offer.
As a result, its total line-up now consists of 211 channels, 65 of which are in HD.
The new HD channels are Paramount Channel HD, Lifetime HD, H2 HD and four services hitherto available only in SD, namely TLC, Discovery Turbo Xtra, Comedy Central and Puls 2.
Toya added the channels TVN Fabula HD, Canal+ Seriale and Canal+ Discovery to its offer only a few weeks ago and they will soon be joined by Nickelodeon HD.
Following the changes, which came into effect on June 1, the channels Comedy Central, History and History HD, CI Polsat and sports channels Eurosport 2 and Polsat Sport Extra have widened their reach by being moved to different packages.
Lodz-based Toya is one of the largest cable operators in Poland after UPC Polska, Multimedia Polska and Vectra.
