Telekom Romania has officially launched its fixed-mobile integrated offer MagentaONE in Romania.
However, the service has been available in the country for a few months and as of the end of April already had 100,000 subscribers.
Quoting Nikolai Beckers, the company’s CEO, ZF reports that between 50-60% of the total were new customers, with the remainder existing ones who had opted for integrated services.
The latter in fact had 88,000 subscribers as of March 31, or almost double the number at the end of last year.
In total, Telekom Romania had almost 4.8 million customers for fixed services (telephony, internet and TV) and 6 million for mobile services as of the end of Q1.
Nearly 70% of the latter were prepaid users rather than subscribers.
Romania is the third country after Germany and Slovakia to launch MagentaONE.
