The Greek incumbent OTE has renewed rights to continue broadcasting Formula 1 and Italy’s Serie A until 2017 and 2018 respectively.
In each case, coverage will be offered to viewers on OTE TV’s OTE Sport channels, as well as the OTE TV GO service, which provides access to the channels on smartphones and tablets.
Commenting on the Serie A deal, Demosthenes Vasilopoulos, deputy director of OTE TV Sport Channels, said: “OTE TV will continue hosting the Italian Football League during the next 3 years, offering top football TV experience to our subscribers. With the top domestic and international championships in football, basketball, tennis and motorsports on OTE SPORT channels, this next season will be amazing for OTE TV”.
